• Visit Gmail official Sign Up webpage at Gmail.com.
• Enter your First and Last name on the first two boxes provided.

• Choose a Username. Username is your choice of email address. All you need to provide is just the name. No need to include @gmail.com.

• Carefully create your password including: alphabets (Upper and Lower Case), numbers, symbols and should be upto 8 or more characters.

• Reconfirm you password to check correctness.

• Select your date of birth, starting with the Month, Day and Year.

• From the Gender drop-down box, select your gender.

• Enter your phone number but before that select your country with their zip code.

• In other to secure your account or help people find you, you will need to supply your existing email account. If you have any. This is optional.

• Lastly on the form is your location. Select your country.

• Hit the “Next step” Button yo proceed.
• A small window will pop up. Read through its content as it is the terms and privacy of Google.

• When you are done reading the terms and policy. Scroll down to see the button to either Agree to the terms or Cancel. If you are okay with the terms of service, Click I Agree Button.

• On the Account verification Page. Select your country zip code and enter your phone number on the box.

• Two options are provided for account verification.
• Firstly, is by Text message where a set of numbers will be sent to the phone number you provide.
• Secondly, is by Voice call where a set of numbers will be communicated to you via call. Both options are done instantly.
• Tick your choice of verification and click on continue button.

• To verify your account, you will enter the number into the box.
• Click on Continue Button to verify and start using your new gmail account.
